Hades 2

in Hive Gaming7 days ago

Decided to buy Hades 2 the other day to keep my brain a bit exercised while my body is still waiting for that day to start happening.

I kinda messed up the first video in that the game's volume overshadowed my mic pretty hard so didn't post that but switched things around a bit more today to include another gameplay where you can actually hear what I'm saying. If however you wanna check out the beginning's of the game and how things unfold then take a look at the first video first.

The game's quite similar to the first one but with a lot of other things added on top of the many more npc's you interact with at the starting zone it feels like. I enjoyed that they've added more gathering resources and putting them together to progress in the game - something we'll definitely wanna include in @holozing as well for the healer professions.

I guess it's quite important to check out different games first-hand as well to see if there's some nice inspiration to be had for what we're building so consider this as research which I'll be paying myself for with @zingtoken!! (just kidding)

Anyway, quite some fun and even though I've played the first game quite a lot I still found myself struggling here and there to beat some of the levels on the first attempt, think after the 2nd video it's been like 6-7 total attempts this far. Game fun enough to want you to instantly keep going for another try, however, so quite happy with my purchase and will be trying to beat it asap but then potentially back off a bit before starting the "hell mode" with further restrictions and penalties that make it harder so I don't find myself spending more time than I should at it. :D

Here's the 2nd one with a clearer mic, but can't promise the same for my voice in general. :P

Sort:

You can tell you have played, by seeing nice dodges and positioning and how you can survive longer by using timing and awareness.

I played the first on xbox game pass on PC and loved it!
So no doubt I also will love the second too.

I agree with other games serving as ideas and research into what you make, sometimes you will find something just popping out and ticking your brain into idea mode!

A supreme Early Access gem... They should give all the awards to the designers of Super Giant Games studio, the designs in general have a remarkable improvement to its predecessor, this section has been really incredible.

Yeah the artwork can't be beat!

I need to start recording some of my PoE2 sessions sometime and get them posted. I'm not sure anyone will care about them, but we will see. It's always good to keep your mind sharp!

Yeah it's not as interesting as other posts but why not diversify it up a bit. :D Who knows it might get you some new followers!

Great that you are doing research in order to improve Holozing as a game, but don't forget to exercise your body as well. That is important.

Nice and fun game. It's exciting enough to keep one engaged. Though you should watch out so you don't spend more time than you should at it. I might have to try this one out later.

We didn't know you had a gaming yt, very cool with commentary too - just having a look now, noticed they're unlisted is here the only place to watch them? We'll take a look at Hades 2 thank you

Yeah I mostly juse use youtube for hive right now, little point in having them public when you're not actively trying to grow there.

Seems like a cool game, I really love the art and how it seems to feel.

It reminds me a lot of Don't Starve Together game franchise from how it looks for some reason.

it looks like a sort of frenetic diablo, it seems like that it requires some skill unlikely lot of actual games

mic is definitely better on second video tough

Amazing, game seems fun and clean, even tho I was never into these types of games. Also always better to watch gameplays with voice commentary on the background!!
Great to see you finding inspo for Holozing from other games, can not wait till its finally in the testing era!!

I liked your writing about Hades 2. I think people have many expectations from this game. I liked the art style of this game too. I think there will be many new challenges in the game.

If you’re looking for a game similar to The Settlers but with a more freedom thanks to grit-less building take a look at Foundation (Steam or GOG) which comes out of Early Access end of this month!
A game I played hundreds of hours during the EA and can wait to have the 1.0 finally after 5 years I guess 💪😊
!PIZZA and !BEER for you

It's another solid entry to the series for sure. Had fun playing it for a while and after seeing this I might be tempted to give it a few more runs!

Just to play Hades II, I recently picked up Hades... I kept it on shelf for too long just because I know nothing about Greek Mythology xD. But the game does a great job of being good and teaches a fair bit of mythology. (Exactly how I wanted to learn it)

Visually it looks even better than the first one. (Didn't think it was even possible with such good aesthetics on the first one too).

Dope gameplay, you made it look easy 😅

Love the artwork too!

That was some epic gameplay—you made it look effortless! 😅
And the artwork? Absolutely stunning. Top-tier vibes all around!

A very interesting game to watch my friend, even though I am not a person who likes to play games, but when I see a video of your game this is very fun, keep my friend healthy 💗

Greetings, I hope you are well and were able to sleep. I have a question. I am watching the videos that you show us and I would like to know if your game is going to be similar to what you are playing or if it is a card game instead? I am not very clear on this. Could you please let me know? Thanks.
