The Gospel Wave: A Beautiful Trend in Week 34’s Music Contest

Week 34 is already over, and the victors have already emerged, as the top 6 winners have been unveiled to the community and Hive as a whole.
Well, it was a week where you could sing any song of choice and maneuver through any song cover you chose to perform, which is amazing!! But then I observed something spectacular: the majority of the winners were gospel songs. I mean, take a look at the list—you’d see what I see. It's definitely not based on favoritism but based on talents, which we all had a major say in. But then, it’s quite beautiful seeing artists who magically create pieces that make us meditate and re-strategize life.

First, I noticed an entry from @zicmusic:

With a calm performance, Light of the World. The guitar, background, and subtle singing made it a pleasurable experience—pleasure for our spirit upliftment.

So that’s it—we have about 4 gospel winners out of the 6. It's just an observation, a joyous one. I hope we’ve all seen the similarities in their singing—something about their emotional connection that draws us, the judges included, into their entry... Definitely not a coincidence. We all felt it.
