The life of an artist is an arduous one. We bare our souls in our music...we spend years playing for "exposure" while we wrestle with the reality that we might never reach a point in our careers where we can financially support ourselves through one of the few things that truly resonates with us.
This song "Lakeside Letter" is about exactly that struggle, and about the frustrations of broken promises that often feel like the carrot at the end of the stick that we will never reach.
