The legend tells it's secrets #93

On their long journey, our adventurers stumbled upon a staircase at the end of a dark and winding path that appeared to have been man-made. This shocked them, as no one was supposed to inhabit this area, at least according to the information they had received from the town they left a few days ago. Normally, only a few learned scholars were expected to be here. The discovery of this intriguing staircase sparked an insatiable curiosity within them. They exchanged glances, raising their eyebrows, and one of them murmured, "Well, at least it's a staircase and not a mountain. Looks like someone thought of our calves."

Our adventurers were greatly surprised when they saw, at the top of this seemingly endless staircase, angels flying in circles around them. These celestial beings, with their luminous wings and ethereal grace, brought a supernatural beauty to this already mystical place. The sight of these angels made them feel as though they had entered a sacred realm, a place beyond time and space, far from everyday reality. "Look, angels! Maybe they deliver celestial pizzas," joked one of the adventurers, rubbing his belly.

They increasingly felt that their journey to find the origin of the water source that nourished their kingdom was coming to an end. Even if that were the case, it did not worry them. There were still thousands of questions, mysteries, and secrets to uncover in the vast world they knew so little about. Each step they took brought them closer to a deeper truth, and each discovery seemed to open a door to new horizons. "And who knows," one of them said, laughing, "maybe at the end of this journey, we'll finally find out where socks disappear to when we do the laundry."

As they climbed the steps, they felt a strange energy coursing through their bodies, as if each stone of the staircase was imbued with ancient magic. They recalled the legends told by the elders about secret places, hidden sanctuaries where the answers to humanity's greatest enigmas could be found. Perhaps they were about to discover one of these mythical places, praised in some holy books.

Their quest for the source of the water had led them through dense forests, steep mountains, and arid deserts.

However, nothing had prepared them for this encounter with the angels and the potential revelation awaiting them at the top of the staircase. "If we ever write a book about all this," said one adventurer, "we'll have to include a chapter on the sandwiches we ate along the way."

As they approached the summit, a dazzling light greeted them. It was so intense that they had to shield their eyes. When they could finally see clearly, they discovered a lush valley bathed in golden light, where fountains sprang from the ground, creating crystal-clear rivers.

The angels, guardians of this sacred place, observed them with benevolence, as if inviting them to come closer. Filled with wonder and gratitude, our adventurers realized that their journey was only just beginning. They had found the water source, but they sensed that other discoveries awaited them, revelations that could forever change their understanding of the world.

Thus, with renewed hope and determination, they advanced towards the summit, ready to embrace the mysteries and wonders this sacred place had to offer.
