It's kind of cloudy and cool this morning here so far here in southern California, definitely not beach weather! Hopefully it warms up the next couple of days, I don't like the cold. How ironic that I used to be a ski instructor...

These are nougat flavored with vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry covered in chocolate. I don't know if I've ever even had one. @geneeverett put this down because his dad would freeze them before eating. If you ever watched the show "Futurama" the head of President Nixon would talk about these frequently. Whether or not the late President Nixon liked them or not in real life I don't know. But just interesting enough that I had to include them!

I think this was the overall favorite today, at least in one form or another. Some mentioned the ice cream version and high protein version, but they all taste great! Yes it is essentially a Milky Way with peanuts added, but I love peanuts! I've asked this one quite some time back, now that we have more people participating I thought it might be fun what new fruits we see.

We discovered Honeycrisp apples on a trip over to Wenatchee, Washington. They claimed to be the Apple capital of the US😊
Washington does produce a lot of apples for sure! I always like getting apples straight from the orchard because they just taste so much better! lol

I would say a pomegranate. The pomegranete is the family favorite, where I spend 15 min getting everything out - the kids come and get some in the progress. Love the fruit by itself, but it also very nice in a salad or even as a side on the maon course.
Close second for me is a mango
Funny story on both of those fruits. I lived in Puerto Rico for years and had a mango tree in the backyard, it was awesome to pick fresh mangos. Then I lived in the desert southwest of the US for years and had pomegranates growing in my yard. Those pushes were fifteen feet tall and loaded with fruit. I love both of those as well!

I love them too! When I lived in the South West I had a Mexican restaurant I frequented. They made me a margarita the way I liked, straight lime juice, no sugar, and good tequila and a shot of Gran Marnier. Those were so good! Ah the good old days!

My favorite fruit is the mango and here in Venezuela you can find a mango tree everywhere, in fact in the university there are thousands of mango trees, this picture is taken today Monday 20th, and we are just in the best season of mangoes is when you can get more, although here in Venezuela I can say that always in different places there are mangoes.

This is a hard question ... I love so many ... but I have a pile of orange peel right next to me, and, year in and year out, the orange is the fruit I love the most. I prefer the navel oranges of the winter and early spring, but I have learned to love Valencia oranges too, and I will eat a Cara Cara and blood orange too. All the little varieties of mandarins and tangerines, too ... but an orange is the only fruit of which I once made a day's eating of SIX of them. That was all I wanted or needed that day -- all those vitamins and fiber and juice! It is the most likely fruit I will start the day with if I have to get out very early but will have a moment to roll through a park and sit before hitting a long meeting, and it is the most common dessert for my last meal of the day.
Honorable mention to all fruits in the citrus family -- I love winter and early spring because I will be getting ALL OF THIS GLORY!
I love Cara Cara oranges, just bought some the other day as a matter of fact! I agree, mandarins and tangerines are great. I have some citrus trees in my yard, one grafted with oranges, lemons, and lime which is really cool. All very healthy and packed with vitamins and antioxidants. You can't go wrong with citrus!

Absolutely love mangos, had a tree in my backyard for years in the Caribbean. Durian on the other hand I've tried a few times and I just can't seem to learn to like it. Matter of fact, I detest it! That's how Durian is though, a love or hate relationship!
