Today another update about WOO. Yesterday there was an impromptu NFT giveaway of the WOO game organized by Bookerman. As history has teached me, these events are really awesome and Bookerman often is really generous. So far the positive part, the negaive part was, I only saw it when it was already over. So, this time no luck for me in terms of free nft's. I've checked out the chat and saw among others, some Perry Saturn cards were given away, like the one in the thumbnail above this blogpost. BUT it's not all sad news in this article, as Bookerman spread some hints about the upcoming WOOBETA pack sale. It isn't yet written in stone when the sale will happen, atleast as far as I know. So, we still have some time to collect spare funds to throw at WOO ^^

One of the options the WOO team is looking at, is to give the option to buy WOOBETA with $WOO. Personally I think it's great, it would be included. Ofcourse not everything as they need funds to pay their partners as well. For me it would depend what the peice of $WOO will be and/or the amount which will be charged. As I currently have a stack of about 4.5 million WOO but I ofcourse won't just spend it all at once. We'll see how it turns out!

Another aspect which was touched upon, was what would be inside these WOOBETA packs. Bookerman revealed that there would be 1 card of every rarity / type. What I want to say is 1 common male wrestler, 1 common female wrestler, 1 common tagteam wrestler and 1 common manager. Than the same for rare, epic and legendary. Besides these 'normal' cards, there will be 10 partnered cards as well. We've already seen several announcements in the pasts about partnered wrestlers, so guess, we'll finally see their cards usable. I think it's great that such a big amount of partnered cards will be added.

Conclusion

A lot is going on in WOO. Soon more information in terms of cards / abilities / packinformation will be released about WOOBETA. So definitely stay in touch if you don't want to miss this sale!

What is WOO?

WOO, aka Wrestling Organization Online is an upcoming play2earn game on the Hive blockchain about wrestling. They are bringing back territory wrestling, where the wrestlers are tradeable nft's. The game launched in 2024. It's an autobattler in the theme of wrestling. There are 3 undercard events and 1 main event. Winning an undercard event gives you 1 point and winning the main event gives you 2 points, so 5 points are what we're fighting for. There are wrestler NFT's and manager NFT's which gives bonuses to the wrestlers. When you win a game, you'll earn $WOO, the governance token of WOO, making it a real #play2earn game!
