What is Genesis League Goals?

On the old Hive Days, there is Rabona games for the football manager game, but it's already over and now there is Genesis League Goals. What is that ?
Genesis League Goals is a football manager games which combined with the blockchain technology where we can own NFTs and use them for the match to gain token as rewards ! This is an interesting play to earn concept combined with the passion of managing a football team ! But unlike the 11 vs 11 matches, we will have 7 vs 7 matches, with 1 goal keeper, 2 defender, 2 midfielder, and 2 forwards are battling on the field. You can also have one coach to boost the team performance !

Level up The Squad is Important

Why we need to level up our squad ?

There is several reason why level up the squad is very recommended in order to stay competitive, and the full explanation are posted by the official gls on

#1. Leveling player cards adds 1% bonus to hard stats per level
#2. Player can level up by getting exp through matches, and will gain more exp for each match based on the upgrade through combining nfts.
#3. Combining NFT also unlock the potential of players, by unlocking their skill slot and the rarity of skills that can be enchanted.

Combining my Squad for Faster Level Up

We can combining cards through the squad info. Then pick the player or coach we want to combine, and select all copy of nfts we want to combine. Thanks for @drzoom , I managed to upgrade my squad into 6th level after getting the giveaway cards.

I do combine for all of my squad till they all reach the 6th level.

Get Some Match Again and Gain More Rate

After getting my coach and all players into 6th level, I decide to go for compete again. There is several reason why I'm doing compete :
#1. Raise the Team Synergy. By playing more matches with same squad, we can improve the squad's synergy which will result for all performance improvement.
#2. Level up the players. Since player gain xp after each battle, getting more matches mean higher level, especially with the more xp gained after combining the cards.
#3. Get some GLX. The ammount is not significant right now, but it still become a stimulus for playing the game. With higher rate, there will comes higher rewards !
#4. Enjoy the game. Yup, this game could bring some fun, but sometimes it brings frustation as well (especially when keep getting blocked or intercepted 😂)

I got victory on my first match !

And even more better result after that !

But I also suffer a defeat and some draw as well 😅

This is my team's current stats after today's matches. My rating is increased into 780 with 691 fans.

Here is some information that I cited, about the rules and the leaderboard. There is 2 kind of tournament with different level limit and there are a lot of rewards we can win, why not give it a try ?

I try to register for both tournament, and wish for the best result I could get as a beginner 😊

My Next Target

My next target would be winning some matches on the tournament, while trying to seeks the suitable skills for my players (cause I already unlock them with the combine). I also want to keep improving my team's synergy and their level by playing more matches while climbing the rate as well.
