The art
Some modern art this time around, it's a neat goblet made by Russ Taber with user idig3d on thigiverse, he said he was looking to make a nice vase mode model more on that in the print section below, you can get the link to the model here
The print
So I recently started to print a bunch of vase mode models, this is a 3d printing mode that instead of going layer by layer after finishing the solid bottom layers it slowly goes up in a spiral type pattern, the results is a seamless print and also it is very quick and uses less material, the down sides are it can only be one wall thick and this also makes it more flimsy and most of it's structural integrity comes from the geometry.
Below is an example both tubes have just one wall but the geometry makes one stiffer than the other.
It was fairly easy to print, I used a red glow in the dark filament however it glows yellow,
It took a little over an hour to print.
