The world day of the fight against breast cancer is celebrated every October 19 as it is a date decreed by the WHO, and it is only to raise awareness to people to have their checkup on time and to prevent this terrible disease where none of us is exempt, in addition to being able to receive timely diagnosis and treatment.

I believe that one of every family has gone through it at some time or has known someone who has gone through this terrible disease, very few are victorious, but they are considered tremendous warriors who fought against death and came out victorious.

In my case I have been able to live two close cases and today I share them with you, the first case is of a cousin-in-law, the wife of a cousin who suddenly began to feel something hard in her breast, and when she went to the doctor it turned out that her almost was a little advanced, she began to undergo chemical and radio therapy, and she really looked very encouraged she was doing well, it was two years of long struggle, they operated and removed one breast, all this in a public hospital, in the end it had to be both breasts, this collapsed her since this is not easy for any woman.

She continued fighting because she had two small children, but one day her brother had an accident and she loved her brother and stayed with him several days in the hospital taking care of him, this triggered that her defenses went down and she began to feel bad, after about a month she fell into bed and there it was known that the cancer had advanced to her bones, she died leaving a great sadness especially to her children, but she was a warrior fighter until the last.

The other case that I tell you is of a cousin who about a year and a half ago discovered that she also had something hard in her breast, and when she went to the doctor they realized that she had two types of cancer which were very aggressive, they began chemotherapy began the radios, I mean that in our country unfortunately for this type of disease if you do not have the necessary resources it is very difficult to do the chemo on time, in this case my cousin had the resources and she could do all the chemo that she was asked and everything was done privately.

She had the operation but instead of removing her breasts both breasts were made a mammoplasty, with this procedure she looked very bad and did not heal the wounds did not heal and really spent very bad days but then gradually was healing with the right antibiotics after this she could make her chemo her radiotherapies and about a week and a half ago she rang the bell and she no longer has cancer and she is completely healthy thanks to God first and also to her children who were an important engine in their day to day.

Something that I liked a lot about my cousin was that she was always motivated that she was going to get out of it, and of course she also had a lot of family help from her husband, her mother, her brothers, who did not let her do anything, they were always there to help her and it was a recovery where she was able to get ahead and she always said my desire won, and so it was her desire won, her desire and her faith to be alive.

They are two cases almost the same and one of the things I can see is that the mind plays a very important role in these situations, both gave everything, both are fighters, and both wanted to live, perhaps each of us have a destiny, a time, but what I do know is that it is important that we get checked on time and that we make the women around us aware to be cautious, so today I say Tocate*.
