Project: Distriator
Updating APIs with Google Places data
- It is recommended by Google that you request for details only which are needed.
- We'll need
places.idand exact location details of that place when adding a new business. - By considering that fact, we were required to update the API.
Fixing issues in Business Management APIs
- While updating the API, we found other small issues
- Today, we fixed those issues which were related to json schema validation & accessing values
- After fixing those issues, we shipped it to production
Developing UX for adding businesses
Step 1: Pick a location
- As a user, you can pick a location from map
- once done, hit Next button.
Step 2: Pick one from suggestion
- Based on selection of the location, Distriator will load business nearby
- User will have to pick one from the suggested businesses
Step 3: Fill up details
- User will be shown a form where user can enter details of a business
- Once user is done filling up scroll down to fill up more.
Step 4: more details
- Fill up as many details as possible.
- Only few details are mandatory
- So, if an admin/guilde want to quickly onboard a business, they can do by skipping all these fields

- I'm running 12 powerful video encoder nodes for 3Speak Community Members.
- Monthly internet bandwidth usage which exceeds 15 TB, Maintenance cost, Electricity backup, Internet backup, Depreciation cost - it's all on me.
- On 2024-07-14, 3Speak published total 97 videos.
- My video encoder nodes encoded 88 videos from 97 videos published.
- It means, my encoder nodes encoded 90.72 % of total videos published on 2024-07-14

This should definitely be possible. we set up Distriator so that anyone can pull the data from on chain to their front end. it should be set up such that if reviews are made through your front end then they should also show on the business profile.
Sounds we need some time in split to discuss while sipping a cold one.
