Updates: 3Speak Mobile App

• @starkerz provided valuable feedback on 3Shorts App.
• I started addressing those one by one.
• 3Shorts - show "2 days ago" just like video feeds - done
• 3Shorts - Remove 2 comments button - done
• 3Shorts - after upvote change button colour - done
• 3Speak Videos - change upvote colour once upvoted - done

Updates: 3Speak new-website - backend (acela-core)

• Acela-core Pull Request is again updated
• https://github.com/spknetwork/acela-core/pull/11
• There are now over 30 commits on this Pull request
• update_upload API was empty
• update_upload API implemented
• Tested with a test-front-end code
• Shared test code with front-end developers to unblock them
• Asked @vaultec to review pull request
• Hopefully, it will be merged & deployed
• I believe, documentation for these APIs will be also updated soon.

Updates: 3Speak new-website

• Piyush & I are working together for merging both of our changes.
• He is going to raise Pull Request for all changes he has done so far.
• Tomorrow, we'll have a detailed call to sort this one out at earliest
• With this, we'll have all feeds like home feed, trending feed, new feed, first-upload feed, suggested feed - implemented along with UX & GraphQL
• I'm planning to complete this before weekend.

Updates: HiveFreedomDollar

• Oh boy! we hit the wall for iOS App.
• On iOS App, while integrating HiveAuth/HiveKeychain based login, I added socket connection related code in the HTML-JavaScript side.
• I imagined that, it'll work & with that we'll have less complexity on iOS Side code.
• Unfortunately, as soon as app enters to background, app terminates the web-sockets.
• For user, it takes little extra time to Launch HiveKeychain, wait for HiveAuth to connect, approve log-in & go back to app. During this time, web-sockets are disconnected.
• This approach was slightly different than the 3Speak App. In 3Speak App, we've socket connect on Flutter/Dart level & it is working.
• Tomorrow (or at max over the weekends), I aim to complete the transition for code from javascript sockets to dart-sockets.

Updates: HiveCurators - DiscordBot

• HiveCurators - DiscordBot is doing well
• No outages were reported
• HiveCurators With DiscordBot was able to successfully curate 46 posts today.

Updates: Video Encoder Nodes

• I'm running 12 powerful video encoder nodes for 3Speak Community Members.
• Monthly internet bandwidth usage which exceeds 15 TB, Maintenance cost, Electricity backup, Internet backup, Depreciation cost - it's all on me.
• Yesterday (3-Apr-2024) 3Speak published total 176 videos
• My video encoder nodes encoded 144 videos from 176 videos published.

Updates: The Hive Mobile App

• We managed to setup CI-CD today
• We also managed to deploy app on https://the-hive-mobile.app
• We completed list of communities for mobile-view. Here is the preview

• We also focused on adding a new drawer menu from left side.

• We've implemented DHive for getting list of witnesses & list of proposals
• Next is to work on UX for those items.
