The Hive price is set by the witnesses (price feed). I calculate the HBD by dividing the Hive price by the internal market price (HIVE/HBD).

I meant the Hive price: $0.252, not the base feed price :)

This price is set by the witnesses as well. The base feed price is actually the median price of Hive over the last 3.5 days.
