Personally I think if this was open source then it's something the DAO should sponsor development for. It's a very useful tool that is needed for Hive streamers and other content creators that would make Hive even more useful. If we had DAO space in SPORTS I would even want to reward you for your dev work there as this would be perfect for a SPORTS content creator that livestreamed.

I do have lots of ideas since I've started to use it. The first is it needs some kind of backend setup for where content creators can restrict down what can cause the pop up for their individual link. This should be granular enough that it can look at only certain tokens the creator defines eg (Hive, HBD, LEO but not SPORTS) or that can look at market values of a token and allows the creator to set a POPUP Notification if over $.25. As it is now you could spam someone's stream by sending lots of no value tokens to the streamer so the popup gets queued.

It'd also be nice to allow the customization of the pop-up image that shows for each user when something goes off. I like the Hive image as a default but some streamers would want to customize it to their direct needs/themes.

I'd still encourage you to look at open sourcing the project though. I think that would be enough to warrant Hive stakeholders to look at sponsoring your dev work. That also doesn't mean you couldn't offer a commercial service still. I can think of a number of Hive streamers that don't have the technical expertise to deploy this as their own service but would happily pay a Hive or two a month to be able to have donations come in.
