Is this worth money? #3: Standalone Memo DeEncrypter

Now we are getting into some good stuff!

So the wheels are in motion - people are waking up to realize that, yes, it's true - someone is building new tools!

And that brings us to today's deliverable. Long on my list, this is a request from HSBI fund manager @josephsavage, who's program integrates HIVE-native (layer 1) wallet encryption feature.

Great sites like @peakd and others let you deEncrypt easy from the wallet page:

That is, if you can get it to load all the way back to the date it was sent. With limited filtering options. Which you know, is okay - if you are paying attention when things come in!

But there is an easier way to go about this problem, as usual with a standalone tool. HIVE-native memo encryption is quite a robust feature - there just hasn't been a tool built yet to squeeze some more juice out of it.

How does it work?

By storing just encrypted memo transaction links, anybody can now easily look up and decrypt a message at a later date. This words perfectly for the HIVESBI team as they are already storing the transaction links.

This is all public data so far, the trick comes in using keychain to decrypt the message on the client side. Your decrypted message is stored in your browser cache, and we(bsite) will never know what was said.

Which brings us back around to "My Radar". Remember that in this model, I filter the "good ideas" through a lens of "are you willing to pay 100 ARCHON to suggest it?".
