Greetings to all @DBuzz users! We are excited to announce the release of DBuzz v3.37.0.
What’s New in v3.37.0? 🎉
In this version, we've focused on improving image uploads on DBuzz, as we were having issues with rendering images and uploading images, so we addressed the issue in this update and shifted to a better and faster solution for image hosting.
Also, we're now serving images from our own sub-domain, so they will be even faster.
Some Improvements 🚀
We've added a new property in post meta-data which is:
"shortForm": "true"
This will help us as well as other frontends to filter short form content easily.
Another improvement is that we've enabled the NSFW by default but you can disable it from the settings.
Old links including "#" or "c" will be auto redirected to the new link format, this will prevent broken links, and old links will be working too (will redirected to new links automatically)
Bug Fixes 🔎
We've addressed some important bugs as well:
- Fixed a bug where users were not being redirected correctly to blog.d.buzz links.
- Fixed an issue where the settings for enabling or disabling images were not working as expected.
- GIFs are now working correctly now
- Fixed an issue where images and the image grid were not displaying in the reply modal.
- The images are now showing as expected in the create buzz modal.
