Hi dear Hive community,
In the last week we were staying in a very traditional Nepali place. We think that the real and true travelers should step out of their comfort zone and adapt to the country culture. That's why we are not really fond of big modern hotels, restaurants and bars - for this we can stay in Europe. It's the real authentic experience that counts, and teach you new things to gain different perspectives. This kind of insights will always enrich you and make you expand your mindset.
We searched and searched, later we were lucky to find a perfect place for us. The owner was very warm, welcoming and also had same views on tourism as us.
He made a small village with round houses and small square traditional houses. All is very simple. The beds are without matres and you actually sleep just on a wooden desk, but this you can find almost in every home and local hotel. Shower and toilet is as well very different. Cold showers became our everyday, and actually we like it now as it's very healthy for hair and body.
In the middle of the round small village, you can find a big garden with huge cannabis plants and other giants. They love gardening, flowers and animals. It was very nice to see the chickens, many dogs and a cat just freely wonder around the whole garden. They gave them enough food, so they appeared to us as happy animals. Besides that dogs were having a special day where they got extra food, flower necklace called mala and a blessing which you could see by nice red dot/mark on their forehead.
They live humbly in the same house with two sons and share their kitchen with all the guests. We found this quite exquisit, as usually everyone enjoys also some privacy and intimacy.
In this place we met many new people and made a good friend named Bohdan from Ukraine. He gave us company and we explored together local food like samosas and freshly made cheesecake.
Colors really look lovely Nepal is one of the main places that we need to visit. There is a lot of great sights and landscapes there. Amazing nature π thank you for sharing πͺπ
