So I didn't want to leave you a million words of comments on your journey, so I'm leaving one comment here and will try to control myself.

I waited for you to post 3 days then read them all at once on a binge. OMG. The bears. OMG. The landscape. OMG. The stories. Love it all so much. Really great to see every post that I meditate a bit before reading so I can really savour it slowly.

Girl you got balls doing this on your own. Kudos to you! Beautiful photos, great stories, just loving it all and wishing I were not where I am. The bears though! A grizzly too! Think I'll keep the east in mind for that reason.

There are wolves north of where I am and it gives me pause. I'm not used to them. There are coyotes in the city, a lot of them, if you can believe that one. Also not used to those. The one I saw in BC was huge, about twice the size of the one you photographed. So many stories about coyote.
