Hi Hive Lovers
If you are a 'city boy', then when you have the chance, try to enter the jungle. Look for a location that has a stream as your water source. If you do, then you will have an extraordinary experience because you have to be able to adapt to the rigors of natural conditions.
I have done it; I have gone into a jungle, to be precise, to a small river upstream in the interior forest, where there is a waterfall that is very nice to be used as a bathing place. I got that location from the stories of wild forest honey seekers who often go in and out of the forest to look for wild honey.
I don't need to tell you about the process of getting there because, after passing through the last resident's village that can be passed by motorbikes, I have to walk another 1.5 hours through the bush to reach the waterfall point. Actually, it doesn't really go through bushes, but it is the path used by the wild forest honey seekers because most of the path has been overgrown with wild plants because the path is really rarely used.
I have followed the advice of the wild forest honey seekers that I must make my trip there in the dry season so that I am safe from flooding or rocks falling from the river banks during the rainy season.
When I arrived there, the river's water discharge was low but not dry at the point of the waterfall. There is still water flowing down a large rock like a slide with an inclination of 45 degrees. The small volume of water has given rise to large stones scattered in the river. I actually felt very small at this point, outdone by the size and majesty of the boulders.
What I encountered at the point of the waterfall was silence, because no one was there. The only sounds that could be heard were the faint sounds of birds and other wild animals in the distance. The sound of the gurgling waterfall and the sound of river water flowing and falling between the large rocks were closer and louder.
The big boulders in the small river were really big, as if they were standing proudly to balance the thick trees and jungle there. Nature really provides balance for all of its elements.
What you will see in some of my photos below is a view of the natural balance that is not touched by human greed. The forest is still very dense, with large natural stones typical of mountain rivers, and the river water is very clear, fresh, and free from pollution.
This is the toughest outdoor trip I've ever experienced, but it's worth what I received from this place. The authenticity of nature, the beauty of the forest, the freshness of the air, and the clear water of the river I even dared to drink the water directly from the small river. It's so refreshing, and I don't want to go home, but I have to.
I would enjoy such a trip and jump in the water right away. :D
I have done it, @itravelrox.
Who can stop themselves from jumping into the water when they see such clear and fresh water, right?
Get out there and enjoy the beautiful gifts nature has given us.
Have a nice day.
haha, true! :D
You're welcome, sir.
This is a very good opportunity for me and everyone here.
Now there are so many walls and partitions that limit us, even our minds. #Outdoorsandmore will bring it all back together.
Yay! 🤗
