RE: Pulling home

Car trailers were very popular before 1990 in the Balkans, when many of my countrymen towed them to Greece on the sea. There are still many auto camps there to this day.
My uncle had one. Adria 5m long. We (kids) often played in it, but I never went camping with him.
More tempting than a car trailer, for me it's a camper, but it can't go on all terrains where a good jeep with an axle trailer can.
Your combination is great.

Sort:

It's very popular here, and in many other countries, for those who see the benefit.

Benefit?
To have the freedom to stop anywhere along the road and watch the sunset, the dawn, the lake, the river, the sea from the mobile living room...
Staying as long as you want and where you want, in your "mobile home", is really worth it.
Ok, you can do the same with a tent, but the comfort with a trailer is much greater, you can settle in the desired location more quickly, there is no stretching of the tent...

That's exactly what I meant, obviously.
