I doubt it'll make you feel any better about bears but I largely ignored the warning signs (except in relation to food, lock that shit down) and somehow survived. Making lots of noise while out in nature has always seemed sacrilegious to me, never could bring myself to do it.
Lovely photos! The fuzzies look like a plant I happened across in the desert in New Mexico. Still don't know what they are but its interesting to see them growing in such a different environment.

Made it through without being eaten by a single bear. I'm actually considering switching out my city pepper spray for bear spray. Better range and doesn't permanently injure the schizophrenic, just disables them long enough for me to escape.
