@doomzdayz has been posting some of his collection and showed a really nice older SBSS round. This one isn't as old but still a pretty sweet round.
2015 Merica 1oz Round
She's a wee bit dusty from hanging out in a random box for years. I don't remember when or where I got this, much like most of my collection.
I can't seem to find any final mint numbers on this coin but it did come with a COA saying it's #456. Sounds like a good number to me.
No matter what I do, I can never keep the fuzzies off that black velvet crap. Oh well, the coin is still in mint shape so it doesn't matter.
The description for this coin on Silver Gold Bull was too hilarious not to share.
The obverse of this round features an image of a man riding an eagle who bears a suspicious resemblance to a famous, over-the-top 1980's wrestler. He has a pentagram on his chest, a traditional symbol of military power and war. His left hand holds an American flag with a dollar sign finial representing the almighty dollar above all. His right hand is holding a huge rifle from which he has just fired a round. In a true representation of Merica, he is thoughtlessly riding a bald eagle with a mushroom cloud forming in the background, no doubt after bringing some "evil doers" to justice. The finishing touch is the "M" in Merica representing the fast food giants who are destroying our health in the pursuit of profits.

The reverse of the coin is similar to most others in the collection. Not much to see here, but have a look.

I hope that Silver Shield founder Chris Dwayne has some his old of this over the top satire left in his future rounds, since then he's lost his creative edginess.

The start of the series was amazing when it was SBSS. Once it started as Silver Shield it seemed like it was more forced by a mint to produce new designs. I could be wrong though.
This has got to be one of the most badass rounds out there.
Gives a whole new level of respect to the SBSS brand.

Yes, some of Chris Duane's Silver Shields are very rare & hard to find. His earlier Silver Rounds were Silver Bullet/Silver Shield. He has a good following and usually has an interesting message, on his Rounds. I've seen him on a few good videos, but not lately. He seemed to be very intelligent, perceptive, and concerned. And young. I'm going to google him tonight, to see if he is still active. I think I have only found a couple of these Treasures, in the last couple of decades, visiting the LCS. I think he is still active. I saw some Mini Mints from him when I was trying to find this coin today. I'll have to check around and see what others I have from this series.
