Time is ticking
Damn, with all these real life things going on at this moment, I haven't published anything in more than two weeks and now it's already 16 days until Christmas. I haven't been able to get something for Secret Santa from the Silver Stackers community and I will probably not be able to do so for another week because this week I'm having surgery (and then recovery). Oh well, let's see if I can at least try and get a few twelve days of Christmas posts out, which is a cool initiative started by @silverd510 to showcase our shiny wishlist items.
An often seen collected coin
As many silver gold stacker members are living in the states, I have seen blogs about the American Eagle coins many times. So far I have not bought any of these, maybe because I haven't bumped into one yet or maybe because they're overpriced here, I can't really tell at the moment but what I do know is that I'd be more than happy to welcome one (from whichever year lol) in my collection if Secret Santa has a spare one. If my Secret Santa is one from the States, this could be an easy fix for his or her gift idea this year.
I'm not going to dive into any specs or details this time, I'm prepping myself for surgery in a few days while taking care of a little man (who is doing much better nowadays btw) so to get the wishlist items moving a bit, I'm keeping it short.
To whoever I pulled for Secret Santa, know that before surgery (and maybe a bit after as I could have a few weeks recovery) your package could be delayed. But we'll see, I'll do what I can.. it will come, but being called in for surgery days after hearing it could take 1-2 months, was an offer I can't refuse..

Those are really fun to collect, I love the Silver Eagles and have been collecting them since the early 90's. They are just such pretty coins!
Surgery really sucks, and having your little man to take care of is going to make that more of a challenge. Hang in there, I know it's been rough the last six months!

I have a few old type 1s and some Type 2s of the ASE over the years. They were available locally but with an additional $1.5 to 3.50 on top of the regular premium for a Maple Leaf.
