Twelve days of Christmas

The initiative kickstarted by @silverd510 and followed by many community members to display their desired coins for this year's secret Santa (and after). I'm using it not just to show which items I'd love to receive as a gift to at least help out my secret Santa to find out what it is that I truly desire (inserts the voice of Tom Ellis from the series Lucifer here) but also to have my own little list to focus on once the new year starts.

Intaglio mint

Today I decided to browse at the website of the Intaglio mint after I was checking Silverd's posts. At this point I'm pretty sure that my 12 days of Christmas won't make any difference in what my Secret Santa sends to me so it's just for fun or for my personal furture purchases anyway.. I needed some inspiration and I found it at their website.

Cat chef round!

Everyone probably knows by now that I love cats, I also love to cook sometimes (not every day lol) but a chef cat, yeah, that's one round I'd love to add to my collection for sure! I never noticed this one the last time I browsed there but they say, better late than never, right?

So I found this cat chef round and had to smile immediately, I think it's such a fun design.

The coin has a waitlist you can sign up for, so I did, although I didn't check yet if I can even order from them living in Spain but I will see when it's available if I can. I yet have to get my first cat silver round so best to keep track when it's available!

Secret Santa issues

I finally had my package ready and then a very stressful thing occured with the social security here which I had to solve immediately. It took all day to gather old documents and gone was another day to get my package out.

Yesterday I finally got it sorted and was happy with the end result, waited at the post office after packing the box carefully.. she filled in all data and then asked what's inside. Following someone's tip, I said what was inside and then she started to speak to her colleague, apparently some item is forbidden to send over there. Don't worry it's nothing illegal haha but just not allowed to send it to that country, man what a bummer!

I could not make it back in time before closing because you know, they close in the afternoon here and don't reopen until the next day. Now I repacked it without that item and used an enveloppe instea, will drop it off today but as tomorrow and Monday are holidays, the package will surely be stuck until Tuesday, just my luck. Fingers crossed it makes it in time anyway because they advertise just 5 days to get it delivered, we'll see. It's still possible.
