A precious metals week!

Some shiny silver arrived

Remember that I mentioned one of the packages was stuck for weeks before it was picked up by the courier? Well this week it started moving and funnily enough, the second order I did the day before was picked up as well, eventually they both arrived the very next day. Weird how something can be stuck for weeks and then delivered the next day. I was already happy that it was moving, finally. While it's not moving I'm waiting for the goods and the seller's money is still held by the platform so they're actually screwing over several people by just not taking the packages from the pick up point.

It was a joy to open both packages, especially because one of them contained two silver pieces with cats on it. I first have some others to share though because I have a bit of a backlog here.

Secret Santa!!!

I will make time this week to cut the line of backlogs for the Secret Santa package I received this week though because I'm so over the moon by this package that I have to share it with you. I got very very luck with my first year joining the Secret Santa initiative and I'm extremely grateful that someone was so generous <3 More about that next week though..

2010 Vienna Philharmonic 1,5 euro 1oz coin

I will share one of the four silver piece I bought at once in October, together with the Barbabos Flying Fish from 2019.

I've seen this coin appear in many of the Silver Gold Stackers community's posts but never bought one myself until recently. I saw it in the sellers items with the year of 2010, which is the birth year of my oldest daughter, and decided to buy it.

As you can see it's not in spotless condition but that's ok, I paid very close to spot for it.

Although I haven't looked up any of the history of this coin (I simply didn't find time yet) I think the design was surprisingly cool in real life. Even though my edition here isn't spotless, I'm really happy with this one in my collection. Another new design (to my collection that is) added. It's been suprisingly fun lately with unknown items of which I believed were not that special for all this time, until I held one in my hands. Pretty cool! It's starting to get really addictive collecting silver, lol.

Backlog

I'm so behind with some stuff that I'm going to leave it with this today, it's been 4 days since I published something, which is annoyingly annoying to me personally as I have a backlog with silver items to publish and other things as well. But real life does that currently, so it is what it is.

I will cut the Secret Santa package short in line because I'm too excited to share that one :)
