I received "Celebrating 100 Years of ANA's National Coin Week" last week, which was celebrated April 21 - April 27, 2024. It was produced by Apmex.

The American Numismatic Association’s (ANA) National Coin Week, April 21-27, celebrates “A Hobby for a Changing World – 100 Years and Counting,” highlighting the evolution of coin collecting alongside societal shifts.¹

I'd like to share some on the photos on the coins. They are beautiful!

These are Pre-133 US Gold Coins. Pre-1933 Gold Coins are sought after by investors and collectors because of their inherent worth, historical relevance, and rarity.

The $20 Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle, the $10 Indian Head Eagle, and the Liberty Head Half Eagle are a few of the most famous Pre-1933 Gold Coins.

A concrete way to preserve riches and maintain a link to American history is to invest in Pre-1933 Gold Coins.

Despite being valued primarily for their gold content, these coins could see a considerable increase in market value due to their numismatic appeal, making them a valuable addition to any collection or portfolio.

A caveat: Gold coins that are old and uncommon are valuable above their intrinsic gold worth, and are referred to as numismatic or "collector's" pieces. If you are new to gold, just like most of us are, concentrate on coins that are commonly used and leave it to the collectors to handle uncommon coins, lol.

Typically, I purchase coins from individual dealers at a premium ranging from 1% to 5% over the intrinsic value of gold, and sometimes the premiums are even higher!

Coins are a more practical option to invest in gold (than larger bars) because they are frequently made in smaller sizes of one ounce and less. Good sellers are scattered throughout many major cities and are easily accessible with a little bit of searching. The American Eagle, the Canadian Maple Leaf, and the South African Krugerrand are some of the gold coins that are commonly purchased.
