Producing superior coins, medals, and other numismatic items since its founding in 1194, it has a long and distinguished history.
2024 Austrian Silver Philharmonic Coin
The Great Pipe Organ is shown on the obverse of the 2024 Austrian Silver Philharmonic Coin. The Great Pipe Organ is the third organ of the Musikverein, which has been the home of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra for more than 150 years. It has been in operation since the 1910s.
Coin Highlights:
- Arrives in individual flips, plastic tubes of 20 coins, or mint-sealed Monster Boxes of 500 coins.
- 17th issue of Austrian Silver Philharmonics.
- Contains 1 Troy oz of .999 pure silver in BU condition.
- Bears a face value of 1.50 (Euro) backed by the federal government of Austria.
- On the obverse is the Great Pipe Organ.
- The reverse features a cluster of musical instruments.
- Designed by Thomas Pesendorfer.

2024 1 oz Silver Philharmonic Coins have an image of musical instruments on the reverse side. This ensemble of instruments, which comprises a cello, four violins, a harp, a bassoon, and a French horn, is reminiscent of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.
