I picked up another fine round from Asahi Refining, this one's the 1oz Freedom Silver Round.
Freedom Silver Round
This Asahi Freedom Silver Round is a celebration of the Freedom and Liberty principles of the United States of America. The Statue of Liberty has for a long time been a symbol for people searching for freedom, on the reverse is another symbol, a bald eagle soaring freely in the sky.
1oz Silver Freedom Round
This 1oz 999 fine Silver Freedom Round was produced by Asahi Refining. Asahi is known for their advanced production techniques, including laser-cutting, consistent metal purity using x-ray fluorescence, crisp engraving, and on display with this round, a unique frost-finish.
The obverse side of the round features the Statue of Liberty with the torch raised high. The top-right curve of the round has the text "LIBERTY", along the left curve is the text "999 FINE SILVER".
The reverse side of the round features a bald eagle in flight, with the text "FREEDOM" along the top curve, and "1 TROY OUNCE" along the bottom curve. The bottom of the round also has the Asahi logo mint mark.
Asahi has a wide variety of quality rounds, and many years of experience. This 1oz Silver Freedom Round celebrating the principle of liberty is a fine addition to the stack.

They bought all the equipment from Johnson Matthey when they “technically” went out of business. It was more like a handshake but out deal. But I’m glad the stuff is still in use.

rounds and coins the image is protruding not set in like
this one is.
That's true, I didn't think of that aspect, it adds even more to it's minimal charm, just a few spots of metal were subtracted for the design to appear :)

I just sort silver by lowest price/oz and get the somewhat modestly priced 1oz bars and rounds that I don't already have, usually once a month, but I did do an extra order a week ago with that price dip, looking forward to that arrival :D
