I have quite a few "Cash for Gold" businesses pop up in my city over the years. A friend was a bit hard up on cash and was curious what one of the businesses offered. What we eventually found is that they offered barely 40% of melt value. Another place offered 35%. He aborted ideal and managed to find alternative financing.
