Hey everyone!
Two weeks ago I decided to quit smoking! I've had my struggles with it, but my shining light at the end of the tunnel is my new found hobby; stacking silver!
I've challenged myself to buy a single 1oz coin every week I don't smoke, which is about the same i'd spend on smoking.
The first coin I bought is a 1991 American Eagle!
I bought this one because I thought the toning looked really cool. Toning > Tar from now on haha.
I paid $37 CAD for it.
The second coin I bought is from my home country, a 1989 Canadian Maple!
I also picked up this one because of the small toning on the side. The seal from the mint was slightly broken causing that. I also paid $37 CAD for this coin.
I'm hoping by the end of the year to have a few different coins from the major mints.
I'll probably pick up a Britannica next, but give me your suggestions.
Wish me luck, if all goes well I'll have a stack of 52 oz by this time next year!
I am pulling for you, Ty - @hezpez. You can do it, quit smoking and have a monster box at the end of the decade. Five-hundred one-ounce items, of Silver, will be fun to watch grow, into a treasure. Happy new year, Ty.

What a great 😃 investment! Someday you look at your tall stack, wealth that would have otherwise be smoke and ash.

I quit smoking years ago and nowadays are pretty fit for my age.
