My First Canadian Maple: Bought with HBD

Today i am quite excited. While it was a pretty boring day at work, 2 letters were waiting for me at home. The first one was my new bank card as the company i worked for decided to change banks and we all had to create new accounts and such. This was quite a boring procedure and frustrating and to tell you the truth i didn't even open that letter because i was excited for the other one.

The other one was something that i had been expecting for a while and was **my first "foreign" silver coin purchase, which was a Canadian Maple". It felt like Christmas all over again. Below you can check the unboxing which i promise will be better next time.

As you can see in the super clear picture above there is an envelope and inside that envelope was the Italy-named thing. Inside it was the hidden treasure which you can clearly see below:

After the final unboxing, the Canadian Maple silver coin of .9999 purity could be seen clearly.

Now one thing that is quite amazing in my eyes is that i bought this coin entirely on Hive and from @goldrooster who is amazing by the way. Everything went smoothly, i believe that the communication from both sides was accurate and quick and among everything there was trust. Occasionally, he makes posts about coins that he sells around Europe so you can definitely keep an eye on his relevant posts if you are located in Europe and want coins!

Yesterday, @lordbutterfly made a post about basically to what we can do to make Hive better, to check what's going on, what's wrong and to make Hive great again. I intended to reply and i will do so maybe after that post! @steevc gave a pretty accurate answer though.

What i wanted to point out though that's why i tagged you guys also, is that one thing that's going under the desk here which is quite important is that in Hive there is actually "a real economy/market" and HBD can be perfect for that. Literally, within seconds any transaction is successful and we can buy almost anything.

At the same time due to some factors, like activity, name, i would have said reputation but doesn't matter that much value nowadays in terms of simply a number. If we are talking about "reputable" people in terms of longevity in the platform, posting, commenting etc etc, or other known people vouching for him/her then everything will be easier. Note also that in the blockchain we can see everything so if send X amount, none can say that i didn't.

Thus, another asset of the platform is that HBD and Hive can be actually used fast for buys/sells of actual things even services which is quite cool. We have a micro economy that can be created which exists already but it can be more organized and can be highlighted to attract more users. I know that there are some attempts going on but i think that this is something we can focus on as well as a selling point of Hive, it's theoretical it's something that's actually going on!

Anyways that was it from me today, the coin looks amazing, and hopefully slowly but steadily i will start creating my small stack of silver coins! Thanks to this platform i managed to gather the funds to buy it, did the whole purchase procedure and you can see the outcome in the pictures above!
