1 oz Fine Silver Bullionspot 2024 - Garuda Indonesia Gilded Matte Colorized Finish Medal

August: the month of red, white, and a whole lot of pride. As Indonesia gears up to celebrate its 79th Independence Day, the nation is awash in patriotic fervor. From flags to decorations, everyone's getting into the spirit. And let's not forget the mints!

In recent years, several Indonesian mints have jumped on the independence bandwagon, churning out special edition products featuring our beloved Garuda. One shining star in this field is Bullionspot. This relatively new player has quickly captured the hearts of silver enthusiasts like me. Their medals are like pieces of art, and holding one in your hand is a truly magical experience.

The brains behind Bullionspot had a vision: to make silver investment as accessible and appealing as possible. They wanted to create silver products that weren't just shiny blobs but actual works of art. And boy, have they delivered!

Their latest creation, the 1 oz Fine Silver Bullionspot 2024 - Garuda Indonesia Gilded Matte Colorized Finish Medal, is a testament to their artistry. It's like a symphony of finishes – a harmonious blend of gold, matte, and color that dances across the silver canvas.

The result? A limited edition medal (only 600 pieces minted) that's not just a piece of metal but a collectible work of art. It's a tangible expression of Indonesian pride, captured in shimmering silver.

Here is the Medal's Detail

Obverse: The obverse side is a patriotic masterpiece. A majestic Garuda, Indonesia's national emblem. The bird is partially gilded, adding a touch of luxury. Inscriptions like "GARUDA," "INDONESIA," "2024," and the silver purity details complement the design.

Reverse: The reverse is equally captivating. A complex floral or mandala-like pattern dominates, surrounded by a decorative border. The inscription "BULLIONSPOT" and a unique serial number complete the design.

What do you think, silver stackers? Is this a medal worth adding to your collection? Let me know in the comments!

Gold gilded, definitely going for artistic impression here. Any thoughts @punkysdad ? You're the bird collector.

Nice, first time seeing this and it is a new release, 600 mintage, I'm sure there's a big premium for this.

To date, products from the bullionspot have been limited to 200-600 pieces. This product is the most produced compared to the previous series. As far as I know, their products are currently only circulating in Indonesia, it doesn't seem to have reached overseas.

Perhaps this is the first post in English that discusses their products.

I get it. Actual distribution is a big unknown when it comes to these low quantities.

Perhaps gold gilded is popular in Indonesia. Last month there was one mint that released 2 variants of the same product. The generic product which was printed unlimited and the gold gilded limited to 50 pieces.

There are even some people who gild their silver coins/medals with gold. This makes their coins/medals look more beautiful.

It is beautiful, but probably is something that I would buy if I had lots of money to spend in anything hehehe

I don't know how much a gilded silver medal like this costs at your place. But I bought it with a launch price (plus shipping)of Rp 740,000 or equivalent to $45.75.
