One thing that Jeff dances around and sometimes mentions is that his "renaiissance" came with his finding the love of his life. It happened later for him than for many, and I don't believe that every couple experiences true love. But once that happens, everything changes. With children, even more so. Once someone finds something more valuable than money, more valuable than security, more value than safety, then that someone may consider more universal truths. Like whether what we see is "real", whether any of it is important and what our purpose truly is. Jeff always evades the possibility of the existence of God, but his thought process is clearly pointing him toward that realization, whether he admits it or not.
Space is fake, so I can guarantee you there are no aliens, just like there are no asteroids or anything coming from there. Animals or not yet known races of people might one day visit us from undiscovered places on Earth, but that's about it.

Jamie Fox: NEPHROTIC SYNDROME (An affect caused by graphene oxide in your blood stream)- Can cause swelling of the eyes. This swelling can cause temporary blindness. If you REALLY want to know how the "Zombe apocalypse" will happen. How the "dead shall rise from the grave", you need to know the real ability of graphene. Then you need to know the real ability of graphene oxide. Then youo need to know the physiology of the human body and how it functions. Then you need to know what "waves" including wifi work. Then you need to understand RFI, Radio Waves and thus digital signals.
I know how this works. You haven't seen the zombe's yet. But you do see the "bodies" of those who die from the reactions to Graphene Oxide nanoparticles.
