Pictures have their own way of telling the story, sometimes too much color takes away from the beauty of the vision. The emotional association of coloring ones worlds perchance? In so many ways, less is best and it adds to the peace of the moment, so that I may breathe again.
I open the door and let you in, only to feel your loveliness that carries such soft delicate feelings, like a warm whisper passing swiftly by.
The Collecting of thoughts
As they pass through the night
With you by my side, or, alone
Mayhap
Out of a cloud of obscurity did you come
Leaving the gate of my heart undone
Revealing exposed to the world that was watching
Changing perception
Of love, everlasting
Effortless in nature
Simple beauty just takes my breath away.
Flowers. Always. Because they color my world.

All I have are my words, armed in my mind, written in pen, stand by stand. Oh, yes. Still by hand. It has a different feel. Altered not by keys, backspace, and delete, I write, erase, tear it to pieces and start all over again. And again.
It’s my way. I walk out to the deep end of the page and dive right in.
And just like that, these words are done. I want to thank @tattoodjay for hosting #WednesdayWalk and for strolling along with me through the musings of my mind. they set my aunts house on fire
i cried the way women on tv do
folding at the middle
like a five pound note.
i called the boy who use to love me
tried to ‘okay’ my voice
i said hello
he said warsan, what’s wrong, what’s happened?
i’ve been praying,
and these are what my prayers look like;
dear god
i come from two countries
one is thirsty
the other is on fire
both need water.
later that night
i held an atlas in my lap
ran my fingers across the whole world
and whispered,
"where does it hurt?"
it answered,
"everywhere"

Well those passionate words are just to pull you into the poetry, and I know that poetry is not people's favorite. Don't you worry. I have a handle on that wine. You know better than that. I never play with fire. Smokey the Bear does not approve.

I took a while to get past the start of this post before getting to the photos and the rest of the post, I found them very profound emotional and touching, they opened a spot in my memories and soul and gave me such a wonderful feeling of relating to these words

Ohh yes i totally agree not only in photos but in leife ingeneral I think people try sometimes to hard to make it all outstanding and vivid, when often that is not needed and as you say less is best

yeah.. I know what you mean;) maybe you say it in general, not about Hive, but here I often see copypaste comments about nothing, something like "great, cool, I like it, thanks for the post", and in most cases people even don't read what the post was about...

This is what I think also when I write a post on Hive. No one does not need to write a complete essay (500-1000 words) about nothing just/only to fill up the space to make their posts lengthy. Many people do this, and it is sometimes tiring. Why write something in 60 sentences, when you can do the same in 6 sentences? Length alone does not necessarily mean quality, nor meaningfulness.
I do not address this directly to you, of course. You have beautiful posts. I write the above in general about the post writing trends on the Hive blockchain nowadays. Somehow many people think that it is necessary to write long posts on the Hive blockchain.
I give you some !PIZZA, as usual. This became a habit of me recently.

I have to say that I don't really take the number of words into consideration when I am posting. My posts vary from short to a little longer, but, it depends on the content. I never go into it thinking that I need to stretch it out to make it longer. On the other hand, a really interesting post can go on forever.
