¡Buen día amigos de Hive Arte! Espero que se encuentren muy bien, aquí está haciendo tanto frío que solo me atrevo a encerrarme y seguir con mis pequeñas cosas de dibujo, crecimiento y cursos varios. Hoy les vengo a mostrar algo genial y como pude resolverlo. Encontré en un viejo cuaderno de acuarelas unos dibujos que nunca fueron pintados, así que me atreví a darles vida, hoy mismo.

I hope you are feeling great, it's getting so cold here that I just dare to lock myself up and continue with my little things of drawing, growing and various courses. Today I come to show you something cool and how I was able to solve it. I found in an old watercolor notebook some drawings that were never painted, so I dared to give them life, today.
Todo esto en la medida que estoy haciendo un curso nuevo y ya les contaré más adelante, pero las dificultades que enfrenté hoy no las podrán creer, y aún así, espero que el resultado final les guste tanto como a mi. Un poco es un post de dibujo y un post de superación. Y como estoy encantada con la comunidad que somos y con el espacio para cada uno compartiendo su historia y los diferentes tipos de arte, me siento inspirada a contarles la parte de superación sobre el error también.

All this to the extent that I'm doing a new course and I'll tell you about it later, but the difficulties I faced today you won't believe, and even so, I hope you like the final result as much as I do. It's a bit of a drawing post and a post of overcoming. El dibujo lo recuerdo perfectamente, no entendi porqué estaba sin terminar, es decir, algunas cosas estaban remarcadas, otras no, creo que el dibujo fue algo que me inspiró o copié un poco la idea, pero a mi estilo. Pero había algunas siluetas sin remarcar, en fin. Algo habrá sucedido cuando lo hacía y no lo terminé. Al encontrarlo me sentí muy inspirada, quería verlo terminado, a color, con tonos verdes, con un poco de oscuridad, incluso probar las luces y algo de todo lo que aún no he vuelto a practicar, hojas, y siluetas escondidas en el terminado.

I remember the drawing perfectly, I didn't understand why it was unfinished, I mean, some things were marked, others were not, I think the drawing was something that inspired me or I copied the idea a little bit, but in my style. But there were some silhouettes without highlighting, anyway. Something must have happened when I was doing it and I didn't finish it. When I found it I felt very inspired, I wanted to see it finished, in color, with green tones, with a bit of darkness, even try the lights and some of everything I haven't practiced yet, leaves, and silhouettes hidden in the finish.

¿Qué pasó? preparé mis acuarelas, algunos tonos elegidos y también el poder de improvisación y decisión rápida al colorear. Pero en cuanto puse un poco de agua sobre el papel, aquel marcador que usé en el pasado empezó a moverse por todos lados. En seguida me detuve atónita.

I prepared my watercolors, some chosen tones and also the power of improvisation and quick decision when coloring. But as soon as I put some water on the paper, that marker I used in the past started to move all over the place. I immediately stopped in astonishment.
Decidí continuar, tratar con más cuidado las líneas y usar algunos tonos más oscuros para disfrazar este error. Verdaderamente sentí una gran decepción cuando descubrí esto. Tenía una idea global de cómo quería el resultado final que no iba a poder lograrlo. Aún así, superé el miedo y el error que me sorprendió, y pude sobreponerme a este detalle, sin dejar que me arruine el momento creativo y aún así lograr un final acorde.

I decided to move on, to treat the lines more carefully and to use some darker tones to disguise this mistake. I was truly disappointed when I discovered this. I had an overall idea of how I wanted the final result that I was not going to be able to achieve. Still, I overcame the fear and the mistake that surprised me, and was able to overcome this detail, without letting it ruin my creative moment and still achieve a matching finish.
Algunos colores fallaron, los amarillos no se lucen en abosluto, pero brindan claridad al menos. Descubrí que pude resolverlo con las herramientas que tenía, logré hacer un final hermoso, volví a retocar con marcadores liner, esta vez usé los buenos, porque no sé cuál es ese que usé en el pasado que casi me arruina el dibujo. Y para terminar de darle un toque bonito y llamativo, usé lápices, que este acabado sobre las pinturas y los estilos acuarelables queda siempre bonito, sutil y logra resaltar el final.

Some colors failed, the yellows don't really pop, but they provide clarity at least. I found that I could solve it with the tools I had, I managed to make a beautiful finish, I retouched again with liner markers, this time I used the good ones, because I don't know which is the one I used in the past that almost ruined my drawing. And to finish giving it a nice and striking touch, I used pencils, this finish on the paints and watercolor styles is always nice, subtle and manages to highlight the end.
Espero que les haya gustado, tanto el final como el proceso, y mi camino hacia volver con mis dibujos, como también la manera en que uso mi tiempo y mi creatividad. Como último, quisiera dejarles un consejo, dejarnos sorprender por aquella idea que tenemos en nuestra mente también nos acerca a un espacio creativo y como artistas que desconocemos. Atrevernos a probar aquello que podría ser un error garrafal, nos puede acercar a una meta nueva, que no alcanzaríamos si no es por atrevernos a explorar sobre nuestros propios errores. Me paso lo mismo, estaba haciendo una lámina para la universidad, mi mapa mental estaba hermoso. Había escrito todas las letras en marcador, y quería colocar por encima como agua con pintura al frío, pero, como si fuese acuarelas, la diluí en agua. Al pasar el pincel mi mapa quedo como un monstruo mal maquillado espantoso.
Lo bueno es que pude solucionar y se vio bastante bonito, pero, es un detalle importante a la hora de usar acuarelas.
Ay que momento difícil, sobre todo porque en tu caso era un trabajo para presentar! Pero definitivamente se aprende de la experiencia y de haber cometido algún "error" y es muy importante respetar los propios pasos para evitar esto.
Yo verdaderamente no recuerdo con qué fibra hice este borde, pero fue tremenda la sorpresa. La próxima no me pasará! Las acuarelas son un mundo muy distinto al resto de las pinturas o técnicas.
