Am I potentially about to overreact about this bit of news?

So yeah, I opened some social media earlier and was met with the glorious news that Mason Rudolph was going to start for the Titans in Buffalo. I wish nobody to be injured but if I'm being real Mason gives the Titans a WAY better chance than Levis to actually be competitive. Levis's injury is not even that serious anyway.

Can the Titans still be 1-5 after tomorrow? Obviously, yes. But as a fan, my job is not always to be rational or logical. I have been realistic and brutally honest about the team enough this season, it's time to be excited for once!!

I know what I am getting with Mason Rudolph and our only win came with him at QB even if it was versus a battered Dolphins team. Yes OUR. I am diehard fan I do say 'we' and 'our'. People gotta stop taking life so seriously with that crap. Anyway, ideally Mason provides stability, competence, and an actual respectable football IQ.

Going into 2024, we weren't sure what we were getting in Levis FULLY. He has played very nearly a full NFL season combined the last two years and has had two off-seasons to prepare now. Yeah, there's been two coaching staffs and two offenses to learn but when you watch Levis man, it just doesn't look good. No matter the offense or coaching staff, some of the stuff Levis was doing was inexcusable. Beyond rookie mistakes.

Also when it comes to all the changes ya know, life is hard bud. He may be on a rookie contract but it's still FANTASTIC money. Plus mayo money and any money he may or may not have made in college. Figure it out man. I don't know. Life is about change in many ways. It's not even like Levis is a particularly young second year player. The man is about to be 26 next season. Rudolph himself is only 29 and has proved himself in a big way in comparison to Levis.

I have family and friends who are Steelers fans and, despite whatever the mainstream media may say, Mason does have talent. If anyone deserves a chance to start again, maybe even one last time, it's certainly Rudolph.

With Rudolph at QB, the Titans have hope. Maybe this defense and run game won't be wasted. Rudolph will even help see if coach Callahan is a fraud or not. Rudolph will shed a lot of light on what we have or don't have in general.

The Titans had success with average QBs like Kerry Collins. Ryan Tannehill came in in 2019 and nearly messed around and took the Titans to the Super Bowl. Nick Foles is a Philly legend forever for literally winning a Super Bowl as the backup.

Who knows man, who knows.

I'm actually excited for tomorrow!!!!!!! I don't care!!! Feels good! Even if we lose, I imagine the team will look better AND we are playing a pretty good team in the Bills anyway. I am just glad the team is not rolling over and dying. They are TRYING.

I know that Mason is playing because of Levis being injured. But Titans fans know if Mason goes ahead and wins against the freaking Bills in Buffalo and win ANOTHER game, it's probably a wrap for Mayo man. This feels like a legit tryout for Mason.

If the Titans win and then demote Mason after tomorrow. I imagine there will be riots.

Tomorrow will be interesting at least, I know that. This year has been nuts and it ain't even Halloween man!!!

#TITANUP!!!
