You can notice that they all (the one with balls too) have very shiny hats. That's from all the people constantly polish (no pun intended :p) them.

When I was in the middle school we went to one excursion to Verona in Italy. The statue of Juliet was shiny too, especially the parts where people used to hug her and make photos with the statue 😅
