Last time I checked HBD was set to increase the overall HIVE inflation on a yearly level for 0.5%. Say from 7% to 7.5%. Will do a follow up post soon on the topic.

Rough numbers are, 3M HBD in savings, 20% APR generates 600k HBD yearly. How much is this in HIVE depends a lot on the HIVE price. For a HIVE price of 0.5$, its 1.2M HIVE on a year basis, adding to the current inflation that is around 25M.
