As well as geographical penetration I think we will benefit if we can get big in specific topics, but that will be much harder to measure. If Hive became the place to be for stamp collectors then that could be a significant number of users.

Yes, part of the lesson in the linked blog post is to focus on small communities and grow them individually as Facebook did. I'm just not sure if we have any clear options equivalent to Facebook's University campuses. I can see small economies where money is difficult to move suiting Hive well, if we can identify them.
