I wonder if it has anything to do with the messaging that we use to bring in new users. One of the messages I've seen in the past is that we own our personal data so no one else is making money off of it. Other messaging that implies that you can earn by being a participant, etc. I don't think this is necessarily bad but it could contribute to decreased retention when prices drop. If we lead with something else that describes how hive can make their lives better, more efficient, offer some social value, etc, and have less focus on earnings, maybe we'd whether dropping prices?
