¡Un saludo a todos! Espero que estén muy bien. En esta oportunidad vengo a enseñarles una nueva ilustración, la cual titule “Muerte en vida”.
Greetings to all! I hope you are doing very well. In this opportunity I come to show you a new illustration, which I titled "Death in life".
Lo nombre de esta manera, ya que una vez terminé la ilustración, me di cuenta que esta podía expresar distintos significados dependiendo de la interpretación de cada quien. Para mí, esta expresa lo difuminado que a veces puede llegar a ser nuestro futuro. Nada es seguro excepto la muerte. Hoy estamos, pero mañana no sabemos, quizás la muerte puede estar tan cerca de nosotros como lo suele estar el aire que respiramos. Ante esa incertidumbre, debemos aprovechar y vivir cada día de nuestras vidas como si fuese el ultimo. ¿Quién sabe? puede serlo y nunca lo sabríamos…
I named it this way, because once I finished the illustration, I realized that it could express different meanings depending on the interpretation of each one. For me, it expresses how blurred our future can sometimes be. Nothing is certain except death. Today we are here, but tomorrow we do not know, perhaps death can be as close to us as the air we breathe. In the face of this uncertainty, we must take advantage and live each day of our lives as if it were our last. Who knows? it may be and we would never know...
Primero y como es usual, hice el boceto donde coloqué cada uno de los elementos de la ilustración, como la posición de los ojos, la boca, la nariz, la forma del cabello, el gesto de la pose el concepto como tal.
First and as usual, I made the sketch where I placed each of the elements of the illustration, such as the position of the eyes, the mouth, the nose, the shape of the hair, the gesture of the pose and the concept as such.
Lo segundo que hice, fue dibujar y entintar cada uno de los cabellos con un lapicero línea por línea, dejando algunos espacios en blanco y siendo un poco mas sutil en otros para generar un buen aspecto de cabellera. Es un proceso un tanto tedioso, pero con paciencia se logra un muy buen resultado.
The second thing I did, was to draw and ink each of the hairs with a pencil line by line, leaving some spaces blank and being a little more subtle in others to generate a good hair look. It is a somewhat tedious process, but with patience a very good result is achieved.
Luego, seguí avanzando por los detalles de la cara, dibujando los elementos principales de la misma y sombreando poco a poco el rostro a partir de líneas sutiles, respetando la forma de la cara y designado las luces. Así como también termine de darle profundidad y sombra a los ojos, nariz y boca.
Then, I continued with the details of the face, drawing the main elements of the face and shading little by little the face with subtle lines, respecting the shape of the face and designating the lights. I also finished giving depth and shadow to the eyes, nose and mouth.
Terminado el rostro, pase a hacer los detalles del esqueleto dentro de los triángulos, proporciándolo según el rostro para que coincidiera y dibujándole detalles sutiles para que este no se viera plano. También, en las zonas donde los triángulos tocaban el cabello, dibuje poco cabello para que parecieran canas y se viera blanco. De hecho, en esta parte me ayudo bastante mi novia, ya que constantemente le preguntaba a ella que le parecía, a demás de que me ayudo a notar los errores de proporción que tenía la ilustracion previos al entintando. Once the face was finished, I went on to make the details of the skeleton inside the triangles, propitiating it according to the face so that it would match and drawing subtle details so that it wouldn't look flat. Also, in the areas where the triangles touched the hair, I drew little hair to make it look gray and white. In fact, in this part my girlfriend @zoomvi helped me a lot, since I was constantly asking her what she thought of it, and she also helped me to notice the proportion errors that the illustration had before inking. Hecho esto, pase a sombrear el cuerpo siguiendo el mismo estilo que el rostro y trazándolo según la forma y posición del cuerpo para que todo fluyera en armonía.
After that, I shaded the body following the same style as the face and tracing it according to the shape and position of the body so that everything would flow in harmony.
Luego, remarque y detalle un poco el triángulo y los huesos de la mano, hombro costilla y espalda. Con esto, prácticamente que el concepto principal de la ilustración estaba listo.
Then, I highlighted and detailed a little bit the triangle and the bones of the hand, shoulder, rib and back. With this, practically the main concept of the illustration was ready.
Por último, decidí hacer unos últimos detalles, encerrando a la modelo en un triángulo más grande y posteriormente hacerlo ver un poco como en 3d y dibujando otros más pequeños para que le dieran estilo y le dieran un poco mas de personalidad a la ilustración.
Finally, I decided to make some last details, enclosing the model in a larger triangle and then making it look a little bit like in 3d and drawing other smaller ones to give it style and give a little more personality to the illustration.
Y este fue el resultado final, ya con todos los elementos secundarios terminados y con la modelo siendo la protagonista de esta ilustración, así como el concepto de los triángulos que por donde pasaban hacían ver el interior de la misma.
La verdad, quede bastante satisfecho con el resultado y espero que a ustedes también les guste.

And this was the final result, with all the secondary elements finished and with the model being the protagonist of this illustration, as well as the concept of the triangles that where they passed made see the inside of it.
The truth is, I was quite satisfied with the result and I hope you like it too.
