La ceremonia del premio se dio en el salón tríptico de la Asamblea Nacional de Venezuela, estuve con amigos y colegas a quienes aprecio muy profundamente y constituyó un evento que sirvió para compensar en mi corazón la extraña manera en que este año fue quemando mis esfuerzos.

Entre los amigos estuvo Miguel Antonio Guevara, una persona que percibo como un maestro y un hermano mayor a él le tengo una cariño y una admiración tremenda, y este año también se le entregaba su libro por el premio de ensayo Mariano Picón Salas, que les aseguro deben leer.

Además de eso tuve la oportunidad de presentar un libro con la editorial que pertenezco la cual tiene por nombre Madriguera, a pesar de todo lo complicado que ha sido este año todo se a transformado en la cúspide de lo que estado buscando por tanto tiempo, y por lo que he trabajado de manera apasionada. La vida es extraña, me hada dado cosas maravillosas para compensar el dolor de aquello que ya no puede ser y por eso mismo me dan más ganas de vivirla. Pienso seguir escribiendo y esforzándome, lograr crear algo que de manera definitiva logre cambiar lo roto en mi sociedad, aun cuando eso pueda sonar un poco ambicioso, creo que esa ambición es la que nos permite ir un poco más allá.
