La Escuela de Música “Federico Villena” de Maracay – Venezuela es una institución de formación musical con una amplia trayectoria a nivel nacional e internacional y este domingo 1 de noviembre arriba a su 51 aniversario.
Por esta razón y como un regalo para la Escuela y todos ustedes estaré transmitiendo en mi canal de Youtube la ópera Los Martirios de Colón del Maestro Federico Ruiz, basada en textos de nuestro gran Aquiles Nazoa.
Esta interpretación fue grabada los días 12 y 13 de noviembre del año 2014 en los espacios del salón Luis Vaz de Camöes de la Casa Portuguesa de Aragua y estuvo a cargo de la Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil “Federico Villena” y el Coro Estable de Ópera del Estado Aragua. Actuaron en los roles protagónicos Dorian Lefebre como la Reina Isabel, Roberto Leal como Cristóbal Colón y Alix Cedeño como el Narrador, todos bajo la dirección de este servidor.
Los Martirios de Colón es una ópera cómica, una de las más importantes del repertorio operístico venezolano y esta producción fue 99% talento Aragüeño, lo que nos llena de orgullo. No te lo pierdas. Será el 1 de noviembre a las 6:00 de la tarde en mi canal de Youtube. Te espero.
The School of Music "Federico Villena" of Maracay - Venezuela is an institution of musical education with a wide trajectory at national and international level and this Sunday November 1st it arrives to its 51st anniversary.
For this reason and as a gift to the School and all of you I will be transmitting on my channel Youtube the opera The Martyrdoms of Columbus by the Master Federico Ruiz based on texts by our great Aquiles Nazoa.
This performance was recorded on November 12th and 13th, 2014, in the hall Luis Vaz de Camöes of the Casa Portuguesa de Aragua and was performed by the “Federico Villena" Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Coro Estable de Ópera del Estado Aragua. They performed in the leading roles Dorian Lefebre as the Queen Isabel, Roberto Leal as the Cristopher Columbus and Alix Cedeño as the Narrator, all under the direction of this server.
Los Martirios de Colón is a comic opera, one of the most important in the Venezuelan operatic repertoire and this production was 99% Aragüeño talent, which fills us with pride. Do not miss it. It will be on November 1st at 6:00 pm on my Youtube channel. I am waiting for you.
