In Caracas, the capital city of Venezuela, it is possible to observe Macaws wherever you go, there are many people who, around 5:30 pm, look up to see this multicolored bird when they hear its sound, there are many windows that visit in houses and buildings, since there are many of us who have created a bond with these peculiar little animals.
Muchas personas habilitamos una especie de comedero para estas aves, donde colocamos girasol y cambures (banana), es una manera de tener contacto con la naturaleza, con estos pequeños amiguitos que nos alegran la vista, ellas nos van tomando confianza, y algunas, toman la comida directamente de tu mano, es una sensación ¡indescriptible!
Many people set up a kind of feeder for these birds, where we place sunflower and bananas, it is a way to have contact with nature, with these little friends who make our eyes happy, they are gaining confidence in us, and some of them take the food directly from your hand, it is an indescribable sensation!
Las puedes ver con plumajes amarillo con azul, amarillo con azul y verde y verde con rojo. De verdad son aves que me sorprende, no sólo por su belleza, también por lo social que es. Y tanto ha sido el cariño que los caraqueños le han tomado, que inclusive tienen una cuenta en instagram @guacamayasdeccs donde la gente cuelga fotos “espectaculares” de nuestras aladas amigas.
You can see them with yellow plumages with blue, yellow with blue and green and green with red. They really are birds that surprise me, not only because of their beauty, but also because of how social they are. And so much has been the affection that the people of Caracas have taken, that they even have an account on instagram @guacamayasdeccs where people post "spectacular" photos of our winged friends.

Por suerte, muchas personas han tomado conciencia respecto a este tema, porque en Caracas son pocas las oportunidades que tienen las guacamayas para encontrar alimentos, en la ciudad hay árboles de guayaba, de mango, entre otros, pero no siempre son temporadas de dar frutos, aquí es donde la mano del hombre interviene de manera positiva, por lo menos en esta ocasión, y pues, en mi opinión, es una oportunidad diaria que tengo para llenarme de buenas vibras y liberar estrés dando de comer a mis amigas emplumadas.
Fortunately, many people have become aware of this issue, because in Caracas there are few opportunities for macaws to find food, in the city there are guava and mango trees, among others, but they are not always fruitful seasons. This is where the hand of man intervenes in a positive way, at least on this occasion, and well, in my opinion, it is a daily opportunity I have to fill myself with good vibes and release stress by feeding my feathered friends.
