Ruleset Breakdown

#Mayhem
All monsters can attack from any position, removing the usual frontline or backline limitations.

#High-Five
High Five ruleset limits both players to a maximum of 5 monsters instead of the usual 6 gang members, making every slot extremely valuable and a contributing factor to any victory that may come. With fewer bodies on the field, battles rely more on tank durability, effiecient damage dealers and most importantly a balanced team composition. Abilities and stats scale better when monsters fight together, making balanced teams far more effective than glass-cannon setups. In here, there is very little room for mistakes.
Going into the line-up for the showdown
*Opponent’s Lineup *
#Summoner: Aurelia
- Dire Bear
- Great Bear Druid
- Dread Tafarian
- Kicking Roc
- Vengeful Monk
A strong and aggressive team built around heavy hitters dealing with pressure from every position.
My Lineup
#Summoner: Thalgrimore
- Nim Guard Captain- 50% less damage (rounded up) from magic attacks or 0 damage from magic attacks of 1 power.
- New Beluroc Aegis - Draws the attacks of enemy units. Does not affect Reach, Scattershot, Wingbreak, or enemy units in the first position.
- Sorrow Harvester- -1 max health to all enemy units.
- Vengeful Monk- Targets the enemy unit with the least health.
- Great Bear Druid- Both a tank and magic beast.
A more defensive, control-oriented lineup focused on armor, sustain, and steady damage.
Round-by-Round Highlights

Rounds 1–2
Thanks to Mayhem, damage flew in from all directions immediately. My Nim Guard Captain and Beluroc Aegis absorbed early pressure especially Beluroc Aegis due to its Taunt Ability, while Sorrow Harvester and Great Bear Druid steadily chipped away at the opponent’s health pool with the help of Vengeful Monk. While the opponent’s Dire Bear hit hard, it lacked the defensive back-up to fully capitalize leading to an early demise.

Great Druid stood up to take his place yet was not able to take the heat and fell just half way into the second round. Eventually, there was fall on my side too, The Minotaur - New Beluroc Aegis.

Rounds 3–4
Dominance on my side from the beginning to this point. My team’s higher durability began to show clearly. While the opponent’s monsters started dropping one by one, my synergy remained intact.
My armor-heavy frontline reduced incoming damage, and consistent DPS kept wearing them down till a Range Monster - Kicking Roc had to take up the role of a tank. He became useless at this point. The team quickly took the advantage. The ranger has fallen. Leaving Vengeful Monk all alone to battle it out against two melee beasts : Great Bear and Vengeful Monk and Magical Beast- Sorrow Harvestor.

Once Great Bear Druid and Dire Bear on the opponent’s side fell, their remaining units could not keep up.
My Sorrow Harvester and Great Bear Druid cleaned up the backline while Vengeful Monk closed out the fight with the final strike on his photocopy.

Why My Lineup Worked (Short and Sharp)
In a Mayhem plus High 5 battle, few monster is equal to faster punishment for weak picks. My armor-heavy and balanced lineup outlasted the opponent’s aggressive monsters, allowing sustained damage to overwhelm them over time bringing in the victory. My line up respected the ruleset and that rewarded in the end.
