Interesting battle that I just had recently!
Turns out that using Contessa L'Ament summoner (range attack reduction) with the Onyx Sentinel hard counters any snipers out there. The Onyx Sentinel has Shield which reduces incoming damage. Combine that with the summoner power it is the ultimate sniper bait! It neutralized nearly all the incoming damage from the enemy team allowing my ranged attackers time to get through the armor, heal and taunt of the enemy.
This won't work so well against magic sniper cards though...
