There are only a few hours left until the end of the season in Splinterlands, so I'm going to take advantage of this to open a few more Loot Chests before they reset, and they'll probably be the last Loot Chests I'll open this year.

My initial goal for this season was to open 150 Major Chests and 30 Ultimate Chests. I usually also open 300 Minor Chests and Rare Draws, but I haven't been very active in the game this season because of the festivities, so I've reduced my goal for the rewards store since I'd earn less Glint this season.

So far I've managed to open 50 Major Chests and 30 Ultimate Chests, but unfortunately with the amount of Glint I've accumulated in the last few days, I don't have enough to open the remaining 100 Major Chests, so I'll only be able to open 42 Major Chests because I only have 42,106 Glint currently.

My earnings during the season weren't too bad either, I managed to earn 245,226 Glint (122,613 Glint during the season and 122,613 Glint at the end of the season), but it's still a small gain since I usually earn twice that amount per season.

Now let's get to the part where I open the Major Chests and maybe I'll get lucky and get a jackpot before the end of the year.

Each Major Chest costs 1,000 Glint and 150 of them are available for that amount, then the player can open another 150 but with a 50% increase in the Glint value.

It seems that this year I won't receive a jackpot and besides not receiving a jackpot, I had even more bad luck opening the Major Chests because I got few cards and little energy since in most of the chests I won potions and merits. I usually earn at least double the energy I earned from these and this was probably the biggest disappointment with these chests because I was hoping to get more energy to increase my SPS and Glint earnings even more before the season ends.

With the Glint I will receive in a few hours I would have the chance to open more Loot Chests and try to get a jackpot again before the year ends, but it wouldn't be a good strategy because my card rental is running out so I would just waste all the energy I earned and so I will wait for the energy to reach 50 again to open new Loot Chests.

Com os Glint que irei receber em poucas horas eu teria a chance de abrir mais Loot Chests e tentar mais uma vez conseguir 1 jackpot antes do ano acabar, mas não seria uma boa estratégia porque o meu aluguel de cartas esta acabando então eu só iria desperdiçar toda a energia que eu ganhasse e por isso vou esperar a energia chegar a 50 novamente para abrir novos Loot Chests.
