Hi, everyone. Welcome to my post. In the Social Media Challenge, I will discuss anything about SPLINTERLANDS, it can be about cards, abilities, rulesets, battle reviews, End of Season results, or my playing experience.

Battle

The ruleset for this battle is COUNTERSPELL (all monsters in the arena receive an additional MAGIC REFLECT ability), SILENCED SUMMONERS (Summoners cannot use their abilities to grant buffs/debuffs and additional skills), and BLOOD AND SUNDER (all monsters in the arena receive an additional CORROSIVE WARD ability).

In the first round, Runic Skyclaw attacked Void Dragon and destroyed all of his ARMOR. Meanwhile, Void Dragon attacked Harklaw who countered the attack using MAGIC REFLECT although it did not deal any damage to Void Dragon. Vruz also directed his attack at Harklaw but did not deal any damage to Harklaw who had the SHIELD ability. Instead, Vruz's ARMOR was permanently reduced by 2 ARMOR due to the effect of the CORROSIVE WARD ability. Vruz was later defeated by Riftwing but revived by Oshuur Constantia. Void Dragon received a boost to all of his stats thanks to Vruz's MARTYR ability that activated when he was defeated.

Although Vruz managed to dodge the attacks of Queen of Crows, he was defeated by the attacks of Harklaw and Doctor Blight. Void Dragon received another boost to his stats but he was immediately attacked by the opponent's Berix Snakeye.

Oshuur Constantia managed to injure Harklaw and was protected from his counterattack that relied on the MAGIC REFLECT ability thanks to the REFLECTION SHIELD ability. Meanwhile, my Runeseer Sevaya, Baakjira, and Berix Snakeye could not deal damage to Harklaw due to the SHIELD ability as well as their previous Range attack power reduction of 2 points.

In the second round, Harklaw, Queen of Crows, and Doctor Blight failed to land their attacks on Void Dragon. Meanwhile, Riftwing managed to injure Void Dragon. Runeseer Sevaya failed to deal damage to Harklaw, while Void Dragon and Oshuur Constantia* defeated him. Although it had a chance to retaliate through the MAGIC REFLECT ability, Void Dragon only took a little damage thanks to VOID and Oshuur Constantia was protected thanks to the REFLECTION SHIELD ability. (Oshuur Constantia also had time to heal Void Dragon's HP, while Runeseer Sevaya repaired ARMOR and removed debuffs on Void Dragon)

Runic Skyclaw damaged Oshuur Constantia's ARMOR while the opponent's Berix Snakeye damaged Void Dragon's ARMOR. Queen of Crows who was in the first position received attacks from Baakjira and Berix Snakeye*. She countered the attack using RETURN FIRE which hit their ARMOR.

In the third round, all my units attacked Queen of Crows. Void Dragon only took a little damage, Oshuur Constantia was still protected from counterattacks that relied on the MAGIC REFLECT ability, while Runeseer Sevaya, Berix Snakeye, and Baakjira were hit by counterattacks through the RETURN FIRE ability. Attacks from Queen of Crows, Riftwing, and Doctor Blight* failed to hit Void Dragon. Meanwhile, the opponent's Berix Snakeye managed to injure it. Runic Skyclaw almost defeated Oshuur Constantia on its attack this time.

In the fourth round, Runic Skyclaw defeated Oshuur Constantia. Meanwhile, Void Dragon defeated Queen of Crows. Runeseer Sevaya repaired Void Dragon's ARMOR. Then she and Berix Snakeye and Baakjira attacked Riftwing.

The opponent's Berix Snakeye damaged Void Dragon's ARMOR again. Meanwhile, Doctor Blight still failed to land his attack on Void Dragon.

In the fifth round, only the attack from Void Dragon managed to hit Riftwing. Meanwhile, Runeseer Sevaya, Berix Snakeye, Baakjira failed to hurt him. That made them take 2 points of damage through BACKFIRE ability.

Runic Skyclaw and Doctor Blight failed to injure their respective targets. Meanwhile, Berix Snakeye damaged Void Dragon's ARMOR.

In the sixth round, Void Dragon defeated Riftwing, removing all debuffs for my range units (after Queen of Crows was also defeated). On the opposing side, Runic Skyclaw defeated Runeseer Sevaya.

Baakjira and Berix Snakeye* attacked the opponent's ARMOR. Meanwhile, Doctor Blight still couldn't hurt Void Dragon.

In the seventh round, Void Dragon, Berix Snakeye, and Baakjira attacked the opponent's Berix Snakeye. Runic Skyclaw attacked my Berix Snakeye, while Doctor Blight failed to land his attack on Void Dragon.

The Berix Snakeye of both sides lost in the eighth round. They were defeated by Void Dragon and Runic Skyclaw respectively.

Doctor Blight fell in the tenth round while Runic Skyclaw lost in the 12th round.

Battle Review

I didn't think that the opponent would only focus their attacks by relying on Range units. My formation this time is to anticipate if the opponent brings Melee units that have SNEAK ability (that's the reason why I put Baakjira in the last position). I brought Void Dragon and Oshuur Constantia because they are both magic units that will take the least damage if they are counterattacked through the MAGIC REFLECT ability.

If I know that the opponent does not use SNEAK units and relies more on SNIPE units (Runic Skyclaw) then the formation below is a suitable formation to deal with Runic Skyclaw. Baakjira is placed after Void Dragon to receive attacks from Runic Skyclaw while healing itself. That way, the other units can survive and will continue to attack the opponent's unit in the first position.
