In today's 🌟Splinterlands Social Media Challenge🌟, I'm going to showcase a great combination of the Bloodlust, Repair, and Heal abilities. This isn't the first time I've battled with these abilities and cards, but it was exciting to see how, at one point, I thought I was going to lose the battle, and then these abilities worked together to secure the victory. Let's go straight to the new battlefield itself!
This was a Maneuvers, Odd Ones Out, and Fog of War ruleset battle with only 27 mana cap. Avina of the wolf is my personal favourite Archon from the Life element. However, 3 more elements were open for this particular battle, but I decided to go with the Life element for this battle. Simply because I had better card options in this element, especially in such a low mana battle. In the first impression, the strengths of both teams were clearly visible; for example, the opponent's team seemed more defensively secure, while my team was slightly better in terms of attacking power. The strategy was clear: I placed a Halfling Refugee as a tank because only in 1 mana this card offers quite impressive stats, followed by a new member in my deck Marisol Contuma which is from the Gladiator set, then a card with Repair ability to repair work of the team, and then at last I placed a Inspire ability card to strengten the melee cards. Mainly, I focus on melee attack cards. I wanted a team based on melee and magic attackers, but the opponent's archon took 1 magic attack power from my card. The mana cap was limited to add more brilliant cards as I could, so my focus was to build a team with at least one powerful card with some protection or repair. Furthermore, using my Archon's powers, I decided to give the Heal ability to my second line of defence.
Although the enemy wasn't weak, in fact, its first two cards were the most lethal. According to which, this battle shouldn't have lasted long, but after the knockout of my first card, you won't believe it, it was taking two rounds for a single card to be knocked out on the battlefield. One reason for this was the opponent team's heavy armour, and the other was my team's repair and healing abilities. This way, I gave the opponent tough competition.
But throughout this entire battle, I saw the power of Bloodlust perfectly enhanced by the repair and healing abilities. Thankfully, the Fog of War ruleset was in effect in this battle; otherwise, with the Opportunity ability, the enemy would have knocked out my repair ability card first, which would undoubtedly have made things difficult for my main attacker, as you'll understand after watching the entire battle. But the way the repair and healing abilities worked even after the enemy's continuous attacks, and then how the Bloodlust ability kicked in after every killing blow, was amazing to witness.
This reminds us to focus not only on adding powerful cards but also on a healer or repair in the lineup. Perfect synergy of every card ensures your best performance on the Battlefield. Victory and defeat are not in our hands, but creating the toughest opponent is, and that's what we should focus on. The choice of Magic attack cards with the Inspire ability also empowers my cards, its own power reduced, tough. If I didn't have repair and heal ability on my side, then the result of this battle would have been different.
You can guess the outcome of this battle, but I would still say that you should definitely watch its live action once because only then will you be able to understand this strategy and its importance deeply. Seeing this battle in live action, in particular, can be incredibly rewarding. Because, in Splinterlands, you can't win a battle solely on powerful cards; you have to be both powerful and clever. It's essential to understand the implications of the rules and carefully build your team, taking all factors into account. As you finesse your strategies with better cards, you'll find Splinterlands is an ocean of rewards and a lot of fun. The deeper you delve, the more you'll benefit from it.🔥
