While Elfs and the Execute ability are nothing new to Splinterlands, I recently purchased the Earth Element Archon, Kaylia Silverleaf, from the Arcana set. This Archon is equipped with a special ability called Execute, which grants its owner the freedom to perform an additional attack on the enemy if the enemy has 2 or fewer health points remaining after the first attack. I had been observing this ability for quite some time; it was used against me several times, and its performance was excellent. However, there's a condition: this ability can only be granted to cards from this Archon's bloodline. So, along with purchasing the Archon, I also had to purchase some good cards from its bloodline, which, when combined, allow you to create a powerful strategy.

Now it was time to test it in a real battlefield. Since cards from the same bloodline can be summoned in any battle, all the elves in my deck were looking at me expectantly, but I focused more on magic attack cards because elves generally don't have very high health. My plan was to ensure that each elf's attack inflicted as much damage as possible on the enemy before being knocked out themselves. And in this situation, magic attack is the only type of attack that ignores the enemy's armour and directly targets their health. Another reason for choosing magic cards was the ruleset of this battle, because with the Born Again ruleset, every card reappeared on the battlefield after being knocked out, with 100% armor and 1 health. In this case, if you choose any attack type other than magic, you have to deal with the cards' armour again when they are reborn, but if the attack type is magic, just one more attack and that card is permanently knocked out.

Besides, I don't use cards with Thorns very often, but it's also true that these cards have a unique aura. Because of this, placing these cards in the first and last positions often gives a distinct advantage in battle. I chose the Lioceros melee attacker for the first position in this battle simply as a precaution, so that if the enemy used melee attacks, this card would defend the team while also damaging the enemy with its attacks and Thorns. However, in this battle, my opponent also created a team with the same Archon, mainly using ranged attackers, but there were also two melee cards, which my tank damaged considerably with its Thorns. Overall, the Execute ability played the main role in the battle because it allows an extra attack, effectively doubling damage against the enemy. However, my opponent's and my Elves' magic attack power was reduced to 1, but if that hadn't happened, or if you could further strengthen your cards with the Execute ability using some additional power, even better strategies could be devised with this ability. Now, since this Archon is a permanent part of my deck, I will continue to work on strategies to better utilise its powers and will share my achievements with you.😎
Splinterlands isn't an easy place, but that's what makes it even more fun. A perfect strategy takes into account many factors, including stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and more. That's why it's even more important to consider all these factors when developing a strategy. Add good cards to your deck, but also work on improving your strategies, and strive to win as many battles as possible!🔥

Kayla is the one that I really don't like to face with, when I use card from water element with lots of magic attack, as it also reduce my power.
