Splinterlands: Captain Frankie took full advantage of the Shapeshift ruleset!🔥

You've seen Captain Frankie in my posts performing incredibly well in different battle conditions, even against opponents several levels above me, but Splinterlands is a vast ocean with perhaps no limits. The Shapeshift ruleset has probably been a part of Splinterlands for a long time, and I've encountered it many times, even against me. You might ask, "How against me?" because in any battle, the ruleset is a common factor that applies equally to both teams, so how can it be against someone and in favour of someone else? Well, it's like this: when you don't understand a ruleset, or you've misunderstood it, or you don't have the right cards to take full advantage of it, and you just build your strategy assuming you can't use that ruleset, for whatever reason.

After today's battle, I would say that my problem was misunderstanding the ruleset and lacking the necessary cards to make the best possible use of it. The Shapeshift ruleset essentially unites every card in your deck, after which each card becomes available to be summoned by any other Bloodline's summoner. For example, I can summon any card from my deck from any other Bloodline using the Kaylia Silverleaf, which is an Elf summoner, and Kaylia's Execute power, which normally only affects cards from her own Bloodline, will now grant its power to every card in my team, regardless of their original Bloodline.

Normally, this battle with Kaylia Silverleaf would be on a whole different level, but I wanted to test it with Captain Frankie. Now, imagine the team selection situation: previously, without this ruleset, I would search for Captain Frankie's Bloodline cards and arrange them in the best possible lineup. However, in this battle, I had complete freedom to choose any card from my deck because Captain Frankie's Inspire ability would apply to every card. So, with this freedom, the available elements, and the low mana cost condition, I chose the best possible tank and also selected the rest of the team's cards not based on their bloodline, but on their necessity and role in the team. After that, when Captain Frankie's power was activated with the Shapeshift ruleset, you can see how the battlefield changed by looking at the screenshots above and below.

The increase in attack power was so massive that my single tank had as much attack power as the entire enemy team combined. And by using another of Captain Frankie's abilities, I also gave two of my team's cards the Piercing and True Strike abilities. After that, those two cards were able to penetrate the enemy's armour and inflict damage to their health without missing a single attack. You can only imagine what happened on the battlefield after that, because all but one of my cards were so powerful that they could take down an enemy in a single hit, and that's exactly what happened. That's why I would say that if you genuinely want to get better at this game, you should definitely watch this battle, because only then will you understand the synergy of different powers and rule sets.

Splinterlands isn't an easy place, but that's what makes it even more fun. A perfect strategy takes into account many factors, including stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and more. That's why it's even more important to consider all these factors when developing a strategy. Add good cards to your deck, but also work on improving your strategies, and strive to win as many battles as possible!🔥
